Today, I made by first resolution on my Model United Nation rehersal. Basically, resolution is a group of proposal which I have designed as a solution of a global issue. The difficult part is that I have to lobby with other candidates to come up with an idea that most of members will be satisfied. In order to make such resolution, I went around, meeting different MUN candidates, amending on a resolution. After such effort, I spoke my resolution infront of others. During the presentation of my resolution, I almost paniced out because I was neverous and was afraid of other candidates who might dislike my resolution. Fortunately, majority of students yielded with my resolution and it was passed as a new law.
Personally, this was a very important moment for me because it was not only my first time to share my ideas but was also a time when my resolution was accepted by others. After the rehersal, I became very confident with myself. I can't wait for my real debate with other candidates from differnt school. I hope I could also be like myself when I am on the real Model United Nation meeting

Update on Model United Nation 2
Slowly, I was able to find myself becoming a better orator. Naturally, I am a shy person. I hate to speak in public because I am afraid of other's opinions. This attitude made me to become more narrow minded and inward person. However, on Model United Nation Debate rehersal with my fellow members, I saw Lee and Juhee making an outsanding speech. Their voice and confidences were so great that I was non plussed. The impression that I got from them was respect and admiration. At that moment, i realized that to speak in public is nothing to be ashamed of. If one can fully speak his or her ideas in fully manner, others will be also impressed. Then my concept of public speaking changed totally. I am practicing my speech several times to be like Lee and Juhee. I believe these practices will make me also like other orators and soon, a good Model United Nation candidate.
