Global Issue Network White Coasts on Every Kid is most valuable club to me. I was one of the founder and i have gave most effort to this club. As a return, I also earned many things from this club. I would like to mention some of those in this final reflection.
First of all, I learned how valuable knowledge is. Normally, people consider me just as an academic person. Yes it is true. I don't like sports, games and social activity. I love studying. However, the Global Issue Network has changed my personality. It made me more socially active person. By me going to different communities and teach science, i learned that i can already help others with what i know. I do not have to be a successful economist or business man. I as a student can already teach and help others.
Through such experience, i learned the value of knowledge.
Secondly, i learned what it means overcome challenges. Since GIN is a new club in BISB, there were no foundation. No one knew what to do. This was our difficulty. Yet, our group and supervision Mrs. Wright did not stop working. Though we are not sure, we have worked on every aspects and try to come up with a concrete work. After all those challenges, our White Coats on Every kid has become an one of the well established club.
Thirdly, I learned how to collaborate. White Coats on Every kid is a club that requires tremendous amount of work. We have to design experiment and worksheet, find the best way to teach and guide kids. Obviously, one person cannot accomplish them. Thus, we have collaborated. We assigned roles effectively and helped one another if others needed help. The quality of work has increased amazingly! Once again the power of collaboration was great.
I believe there are still more to learn in this White Coats on Every Kid and i am ready

Update on Global Issue Network 4
Global Issue Network, White Coats on Every Kid is getting concrete. Through division of work, each members surely know what he or she needs to do and are very responsible. In the process of assigning role, there were some conflict due to amount of work. Yet, members learned to sacrifice their wants and were soon harmonized again. For me, my role is to check whether the experiment that members have thought are appropriate for the kids. I put myself in a position of kids who do not really know about science and try to test if i can really understand. While doing so, i felt blessed for what i know. It also made me motivated to study harder for those who were not given opportunity to work.
The work of Global Issue Network is very satisfying to me. I feel more valuable as i use my knowledge for the benefit of society. In addition, the collaboration done in White coats on Every kid gives me little joy. I hope members to be hardworking until the very end of GIN

Update on Global Issues Network 3
The GIN members have decided on the project that we will be presented on Global issue network conference. The name of the project is the White Coat on Every kid. Basically, the White Coat on Every Kid is a project that teaches the uneducated kids about science. The GIN members have came up with this project because science is a key factor that allows people to improve their knowledge and living standard. Because there are not enough material to work on complicated experiment in suburban towns, our project should be simple but useful.
In the process of designing experiment, I realized how gifted I am. The simple plastic bottle that i throw without thinking could be very precious toy for them. Once again, it reminded me of the gap between social classes. If these gap could be minimized, these children can also study like us with good equipments. I really want to help children to overcome the gap and

Update on Global Issues Network 2
Brent Global Issues Network is slowly making progress. Through the discussion, Brent GIN have decided to focus on some science projects to teach students who do not have enough education. The video about four compass group has taught GIN what experiment would be good for these children. Each members are aiming to do 2 experiment and write lab report to help children understand the experiment. These experiments would be simple and easy to do but have great lesson and real life utility in it. By practicing experiments in School on weekends GIN hopes to have great performance when we actually do experiments in rural areas.
Helping others was something that I have not thought about seriously. Only commitment that I did for community service was to donate money. However I am very interested in science. Through the project White Coats on Every Kid, I was able to utilize my knowledge in field of science and be engaged in service more directly. At this moment, I felt proud because it was the time when my knowledge was used practically. On the other side, I felt sorry for the kids in the provinces because they did not have the opportunity to study. I would like to design more complicated experiments for these children so they can both enjoy and learn more efficiently

Update on Global Issues Network
Currently, GIN members are discussing about 10 global issues. Some issues that we discussed were defroestation, water deficit and eductation. We learned about what these issues are and some possible solutions. Although the problems were complicated and quite broad, discussion made GIN members to think more deeply. As we get to collaborate better ideas came out and our project seems to be very optimistic.
Nevertheless, once, I did not perform my task in GIN. I was asked to research about water deficit but I did not read it. Because of me not researching, GIN members had to spend time going over the topic. If I did my task properly such incident could have not happened. I should be more responsible because GIN is not only about me but also others. Starting from today, I will always try to finish my task at given time so our group can work more efficiently

Third Proposal: Global Issues Network
- Activity: Discuss about global issues and initiate actions that can actually solve these problems
- Goals: My personal goal is to be a leader who can guide others to do actions. I hope to learn about global issues and to motivate other people to join solving these problems
- Impact: By GIN everyone will be aware of global issues and recognize that it is time to make actions. If people start working on these global issues, eveyone will benefit from it.
- Timeline: Where, how often, and for how long will the activity take place? (specific dates, if possible)
- Supervisor: Name, and contact information of adult supervisor (NOT FAMILY)
